Creativity and Genre

Creativity and Genre: Blog Post 5: Creativity and Genre               When embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices, the process of creativity is the most important part. Without creativity everyone’s ideas would be the same and no one would think outside the box to complete difficult tasks or jobs. For example, last week when I was doing the “New Introductions” activity I honestly don’t think I would be able to complete without my creativity. For  example,  completing a school activity is already hard enough but without creativity to add in the extra details or elaboration. It makes it a one-hundred times harder.  Therefore,  creativity is so important for everyone’s daily life. But some people believe that you  actually lose  creativity as you grow older. But I must  argue  that you  actually don’t   loose  creativity when you get older. For examp...

To Team or Not Team

To Team or Not Team: I have at arrived at my decision whether to work on my portfolio project in a group or not and have decided to work in a group. Even though I know that it will be hard to work in a group, since I am online. But I have  actually decided  to work in a group, my decision is a result from the experience with the “Social Media Peer Account” and the Lost at Sea” team-building activity on Blackboard. But with this activity the online students got to talk and collaborate with anyone in the class. This made the activity's go super quick and I felt like I paid more attention to the assignment at hand. Al...

Decision Day

Decision Day: My initial impressions of InDesign and Premier Pro after participating in the class tutorials is that is very difficult to learn and create projects to deliver my story as wells as specific components of each program and how each has assists that feel restricting in delivering a quality project. For example, one piece of difficult software to use in Premier Pro and InDesign honestly is just adding a picture or video file. This is because there are so many different looking buttons but almost half look, like they are supposed to do the same thing. Such as adding a file of a picture or video. Another piece of software that is hard to use in Premier Pro and InDesign is adding music or an audio file. For example, in class when we were practicing how to use the different apps, I tried to add a music file in the background of the video we filmed for class. But while doing so it took me a while just to add the music file in the background. Then after all that I figured it ...
